BREAKING NEWS - HGP NIGHTLY NEWS- A boat mishap in the Lower Mazaruni River between Itaballi and Kartabo Point on Saturday evening triggered a search operation after initial reports indicated that the captain, identified only as 20-year-old Odell of Itaballi, was missing. According to relatives, the accident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m and the Guyana Police Force was notified. Subsequent information confirmed that all occupants of the boat have since been located and transported to the Bartica Regional Hospital, where they are receiving medical attention.
