Many of the areas identified in the MoU, including transmission, substations, renewable energy, battery storage and grid modernisation, mirror projects that the government has already prioritised through public spending. What remains unclear is whether Pacific& Auro Power's future proposals would complement existing government-funded projects, accelerate planned works, or target entirely new infrastructure. GPL has not indicated how the potential partnership would integrate with the projects already financed under the 2026 budget.
