Guyana signed a service delivery agreement with the Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation on Tuesday, securing US$22 million to strengthen its One Health agenda under the Guyana One Health Project. The project focuses on empowering the country to prevent, prepare for, and respond to health emergencies. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Health's Brickdam headquarters. The funding comprises US$15 million from the Pandemic Fund and the remainder through a World Bank International Development Association credit.
