LOCAL ADMINISTATORS HAIL SUCCESS OF SPORTS SEMINAR WITH DEAKIN UNIVERSITY Local administrators Deje Dias, Azizi Christiani, Karishma Ramnauth and Lenval Peart were unanimous in their assessment of the two-day Sports Seminar being a huge success. Facilitated by the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League, the seminar was conducted by Professors Pamm Phillips and Campbell Jamieson of Deakin University of Australia, and coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the National Sports Commission. The seminar, which had over 400 registrants, focused on Elite Performance, Governance, Sport Workforce, Sport Tourism, among other topics, at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre on July 30-31. Dias, Christiani, Ramnauth and Peart all hailed the timeliness of the workshop and its significance in guiding the developmental pathway for sport in Guyana. #guyana #sport #sportsmanagement #workshop
