Player-of-the Tournament – Mohammad Nabi Guyana Amazon Warriors pulled off a dramatic six-run win to retain the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) T20 trophy against San Francisco Unicorns on Saturday evening at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence. Defending champions Warriors recovered from a scarcely believable 29-8 to make 85 all out in 18.5 overs after winning the toss and opting to bat first. Unicorns, in reply, were dismissed for 79, a direct hit to the stumps at the non-striker’s end by Shimron Hetmyer finding last-man Callum Stow short of his crease with seven balls remaining.
