Pregnancy is often celebrated as one of life's happiest moments. Yet for many women, conversations about childbirth remain dominated by fear, risk and survival. One researcher wants to change that. After years studying pregnancy and childbirth in Guyana, Dr. Pere de Roy is inviting the public to see maternal health through a different lens with a three-day exhibition that transforms her research into illustrations, film and interactive displays.
