Prime Minister Mark Phillips says the wishes of victims' families will take priority in decisions on salvaging the MV Barima, noting that the vessel's current site could become a memorial if that is what families want. Several offers have been submitted to the government regarding salvage of the vessel, but Phillips says the families' wishes remain the primary consideration at this time. Search and rescue efforts remain active, with 18 assets deployed, he says. Of the 77 people initially rescued, one later died, bringing the number of survivors to 76. Of the bodies recovered, five have not yet been identified. An estimated 30 people remain unaccounted for, Phillips says. Diving operations were suspended on Monday.
