Public Notice: Unidentified Victims of the MV Barima Tragedy The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the public that five (5) unidentified bodies recovered following the tragic sinking of the MV Barima remain at the Suddie Mortuary. The unidentified victims comprise one (1) female and four (4) males. Families and relatives of persons who remain missing as a result of this tragedy are respectfully urged to visit the Suddie Mortuary to assist with the identification process. The identification of these victims is essential to ensuring that they are returned to their loved ones with dignity and afforded a respectful and proper burial. The Ministry therefore appeals to the public for their cooperation during this difficult time.
