Residents of Karaudarnau, South Rupununi, Region Nine launched a village wide self help initiative to prepare for the upcoming 2026 August Games. The community effort brought together local volunteers and workers including; cooks, painters, carpenters, sawmen, Community Support Officers (CSOs), and engineers working alongside the Karaudarnau Village Council to upgrade local infrastructure and ready the grounds.
