Family, friends and residents of Sandvoort Village, Region Six, came together on Sunday to honour the life of Devon Mars, 46, one of the victims of the MV Barima tragedy. He was travelling to Region One on July 18 when the ferry sunk. He was on business to sell meat, a side business he carried out. Through prayers, songs and emotional tributes, loved ones reflected on the cherished memories they shared with him, describing him as a man whose kindness left a lasting impression.
