The search and recovery operations in the MV Barima tragedy have concluded, the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) said today. OPM, however, noted that the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre remains operational. There has been no change in the status of the identification of the recovered bodies. Seventy-three persons have been confirmed dead and 30 remain missing in the sinking of the MV Barima on July 18.
