The national swimming champion joined the launch of the annual Teach Them Young Learn to Swim Programme, encouraging children to see swimming as more than a sport—but as a skill that could one day save their lives. Parents welcomed the initiative, saying the ability to swim is an essential life skill that gives them greater peace of mind whenever their children are near water.
