West Indies great Brian Lara, paying tribute to Sir Garfield Sobers, says he did not expect someone so accomplished to also be so humble when he first met him. Lara says that over the years, he has come to understand the humility was not an act. "He carried himself in a way that earned the admiration of kings and queens, yet he gave the same respect to the everyday person," he says, calling it one of Sobers' greatest qualities.
