Residents of Den Amstel on the West Coast of Demerara are staging a peaceful picketing exercise in support of the three MV Barima crew members who have been jointly charged with seventy-two counts of murder in connection with the July 18 maritime disaster. Among those charged is thirty-three-year-old Goods Superintendent Delon Granderson, a resident of Den Amstel, along with Captain Kevin Price and Chief Mate Rondell Roberts.
