HGP NIGHTLY NEWS- Members and supporters of the Amerindian Peoples Association (APA) gathered outside the Office of the President on Vlissengen Road on Wednesday morning for a peaceful picketing exercise, calling for accountability following the MV Barima tragedy. Among their demands is the removal of the Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill and Aviation Minister Deodat Indar arguing that the ministry bears responsibility for oversight of the Transport and Harbours Department, under whose watch the tragedy occurred.
